SUPPORT ENGINEER

Support Engineers deliver effective technical customer support to our rapidly growing customer base, delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies. Support Engineers may be required to be on-call on a rotating basis throughout the year.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs. We are looking for a self-driven Technical Support Engineer to join our team. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and prioritize customer support cases
  • Act as the primary liaison between company and your customers
  • Communicate and solve customers’ problems via phone, email, live chat and face-to-face meetings
  • Act as a consultant and offers solutions for customers’ problems
  • Track and manage your work record
  • Work with all internal groups, including support, sales, engineering, product management, and consulting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports

 

What we are looking for:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Technical Support Engineer in technical support
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Motivation to learn new skills and technologies
  • Good understanding of Web Services, API and IP based protocols
  • Understanding Unix/Linux environment
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
